About Scott Way

With a B.S. from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in Engineering and an M.B.A from the University of Redlands, I started my career working in the field of Engineering field working in various roles. Although it was a living, I found myself unfulfilled as a result of having very little interaction with people.  Fortunately, I eventually found my calling and true passion working in real estate funding.

I have been involved in real estate since 2003 and have had experience working in various roles including as Retail Loan Officer at a Direct Lender as well as an Account Executive at a Wholesale Lender. Each experience has provided me the extensive knowledge of the entire loan process. Today, as a licensed Mortgage Broker and Loan Officer, I am able to provide a wealth of information to my clients.  As a true mortgage professional, I’m looking to build relationships so my clients tend to work with me over and over again knowing they can always trust the outcome.

Being a broker allows me to shop for the best rates that best suit my clients. I can shop at 20+ different lenders, where each may have different guidelines.  As a broker who processes all of my loans, I am the primary contact accessible to my clients. I also analyze my clients’ credit report and will work to repair their credit if necessary.  I will go over the closing statements in detail to explain all closing costs (none if a Zero Cost Loan) and I will always beat the “Direct Lender” or “Big Bank” rates, fees and customer service.
