I don't know why he's asked us to leave a review. We ended up moving on to a different loan officer mid escrow. I don't know if it was because Scott was so busy with other clients. But as first time home buyers, he was not helpful with questions we had or how the process worked. We ended up learning through YouTube videos and eventually asking a different loan officer that was much more helpful and ended up going with in the end.

He would send us emails with documents with no explanation of what they were or what to do with them. When we would ask what to do with them we would get short answers in return. Do we sign this? Just review? What is this exactly?

Initially we made it clear we wanted to use a va loan and he ended up turning into a conventional loan without asking or notifying us. I only found out by going through a draft document that was also emailed to us with nothing in the message. So now we have a pmi and a higher rate...

Scott's offer can't be beat. In our case, it's not just that he had the lowest mortgage rate and fees around but his service was also great. He was very responsive in all communications and kept on top of all tasks. He was also a man of his word. We had a verbal agreement with him on rate and fees but the first mortgage provider backed out as we also had to take on an existing mortgage for the installed solar panels. Scott got us another mortgage provider with the same rate and fees even though the market changed and mortgage rate was higher. I can wholly recommend him if you need any mortgage related services. We were well taken care of and you will be too.
